That would be weird, because I can unzip it fine. Things to check include:
- Redownloading the file to ensure it didn't get corrupted during download
- Checking system storage to ensure it can get unzipped fully
- Using a different unzip utility
- Downloading from another source (two mirrors are provided in the game's Patreon) in case it's a problem on itch's servers

Depends on your definition of important. There's an NSFW scene if you take one of them and then choose a specific series of options later, and it gives you some lore, but neither changes anything *important* so far in terms of meaningful choices. One of them is better for a low corruption run?

Have you tried redownloading it to verify it downloaded correctly? I can unzip it fine. (I'd tell you to make sure it's opening with Archive Utility, but I assume you're tech-literate if you found this game lol.)

Okay, I probably should have waited before commenting. The cliffhanger went too far to be satisfying. No hint of new power, no feeling of "What will the MC do next?", just helplessness. Not sure why everyone uses that feeling, people must react differently to it than me given its prevalence in games. Like, I'm either gonna be bitter or I'll dissociate a bit, and neither is beneficial for my investment in a story. Suddenly I'm not looking forward to the next update?

Saves *are* kept in the game folder (under /game/saves), so if you deleted the game files manually, you indeed would have lost the saves.

Glad to help. Notably, I'm a $10 purchaser and have my download for 0.20, which is the version I should have access to. If you're in the $20 tier, my previous advice stands, but make sure you've purchased at the correct tier for the version you're looking for as well. :)

Give it a few days for your itch downloads page to recognize it, it's happened to people every update. Itch's systems are just a bit delayed for updates.

The Patreon just released the Beta version yesterday, which usually happens a week before the full release. So, about 6 days.

I mean, yeah. Mobile gaming sucks, there isn't a good way to make ports from PC to mobile. It helps that 98% of mobile users are literal children who cannot fathom that other people don't have the same issues they do. If you know where the saves are, you can just back them up if you're worried about it. This game has never given me problems with updates, so I'd say you're safe to update it anyway.

No, not the hesitation. Your character has an easier time coming up with a way around the red light heads (not a choice you get) if they've encountered the monster. Otherwise, just before you get the first choice in the fight, you are almost killed by an attack because you get caught in the light, reducing your strength for later.

Yeah, there's a program called UnRen by Gideon that I personally use for development tools, comes with a console. Look it up and I'm sure you'll find what you want. The variable is called "Money" in this case.

This reads as someone who doesn't quite understand human behavior and hasn't played any video games other than Clocktower in their lives. Not everything needs to be compared to Clocktower. It's a great game, but there are more ways to do things. An intelligent woman should understand that the difference between one woman and two to a potential attacker can be mitigated fairly easily. A better strategy is to be an efficient emergency contact and be prepared to get the police involved.

Now, some of your criticisms are certainly valid - an ending based on knowledge about Ian's family would be a great idea to bring a sense of resolution, and perhaps the endings could be a bit more meaningful on average - but most of the things said in this comment are simply ignorant of how people operate, especially under pressure.

Exposition. It's a story where you make some choices. They get more consequential later when your character is powerful enough to change things without getting killed. Early on, the choices are fairly meaningless and you just kinda read it for the story!
